I learned with Nathaniel that no 2 pregnancies are alike, and the 2nd one feels so much more tiring because you have another child to care for. A good friend gave me the best advice, "Just take it 15 minutes at a time and before you know it the day will be over." So that is what I did, I would pray and ask God for the strength to make it through the next 15 minutes. Also, lower your expectations and standards. For me, getting a load of laundry done and dinner on the table meant the day was a great success, everything else was gravy. And of course, the best motivation of all, remembering that in the end you will have another little one to love and hold! Hang in there! And eventually my insomnia was so bad that I used unasom and a tylenol each night (with the permission of the doctor). I just didn't think I'd have the energy otherwise.
