DPP :: December 1

In keeping with tradition, I am participating in this year’s December Photo Project. I’m getting this picture in just under the wire, but I promise, I’ll be back to update some more tomorrow.
The picture above is a pile of Advent Pockets. I made them to hang on the mantel. They are not all done, so they didn’t actually get hung yet, but we did do the first pocket. I’m using the list at the bottom of this post about the history of Advent. I still need to gather all the trinkets, but I think it will make an impression on Fuller.

Yea! I’m doing an Advent calendar of sorts also called a Jesse Tree! I’m excited about it!

Hi Amy! We did a Jesse Tree last year and it was fun. This year I decided to mix it up and found that list with the verses online. Fuller really liked getting a quarter for the first day (and the token piece of candy).
