It was "And Ladies of the Club" and it is a LONG one. I would take it into the bedroom and go to the other side of the high brass bed and sit on the floor so you kids couldn't see me if you opened the door. I sat there and plowed through the book. It had been years, it seemed, since I had been able to read anything more than a magazine article. I remember the first book I read when you girls were big enough for me to actually read.
