My sister also told me to hold down the 1 and it worked! I guess I’m just so used to looking at the display, I figured all was lost.

Thanks Tina! Glad I could let you use some of your job training! When I worked on the helpdesk I used to get frustrated with people who only knew shortcuts to get to programs and functions, instead of knowing the “long” way first. I guess it would have helped if I had paid attention or actually picked up the phone manual before getting frustrated and giving up.

Who is your service provider? A lot of them have voice mail pre-programmed as speed dial 1. On my phone I just have to press and hold down number 1. Jennifers last blog post..Wordless Wednesday

You should be able to call your voicemail from another phone, or even your own phone. Try this: call your number from either a landline or your cell. When your message comes on, hit the * (star) key. It should take you to your voicemail menu. Someone might as well get some use out of all the hours I spend walking people through the functions of their cell phones.
