38 weeks, 1 day
Posted by Alli on February 2, 2009
Doctor day was uneventful. I was able to clear up a misunderstanding about the post partum stay at the hospital (the tour guide said I would have to stay three days, to which I wanted to say, “nuh-uh”) and I left feeling pretty good.
Damon has given me his permission to have the baby now that his meetings are behind him for another month. I just smile and say, “ok.”
When I was pregnant with Fuller, I was mostly miserable at this point, mainly because it was warm and I was swelling all the time. I couldn’t fit my feet into most shoes and going to work was just an experience I hated. I remember crying at my 39 week appointment because I was so miserable. Technically I’m not 39 weeks yet, but I don’t think I feel anywhere as miserable as I did with Fuller at this point.
There are a few things I would like to get done before Baby Two makes his way here, but if they don’t get done, I’m not going fret. I’m just going to take it one day at a time.

I really enjoy the pics you post of how the baby is growing. Cass’ Papa said that a woman was most beautiful when pregnant.
