Baby hat
Posted by Alli on January 30, 2009
For some reason I got a bee in my bonnet to crochet a baby hat for Baby Two. I did it yesterday and then this morning finished the ribbing on the end.
The pattern can be found here. I still want to add eyes and ears to it, but it looks kind of cute as is.
When I was pregnant with Fuller I couldn’t crochet because of the carpal tunnel. This time around, I don’t have that problem so I figured I could do something, even if it was small. The sweet thing about baby hats is they don’t take too long. And this hat pattern was extremely easy and made me feel very confident in the sizing. When I do round hats I am always unsure about the size and somehow end up with hats too small for the babes.
I did more to get ready for the baby today, including finding a specific outfit I was worried didn’t exist or was lost. There are still things on my list to do, and more to add to the list, but I’m pretty confident even if I don’t get the kitchen floor mopped, this baby is going to be welcomed into our family just fine.

What a gorgeous hat!!! I wish I was talented like that.
How is your cellphone doing now btw? Back in action or drowned for good?

@wellreadkitty I love the hat too, I just need to add the eyes. I also need to finish my husband’s scarf!
As for my cell phone, it is pretty much working except the front display is totally gone. I have the interior display, so all isn’t lost. Also, all my contacts were still in the memory, so I’m happy about that.
