Learning new things
One of the fun things about being a homeschooling mom (it’s kind of a new title for me) is getting to learn new things. Or remember the things you forgot.
Today Fuller and I took a nature walk to check out trees and identify them. I honestly have no idea about what kinds of trees there are in our neighborhood, but today I learned we have hemlock, magnolia, cedars, firs, and holly. And I get to teach Fuller about it too!
While it was chilly out, the sun made it tolerable to walk around the neighborhood and get some fun pictures. It’s going to be even more fun in the spring when we go again.

@Karen, we are starting out slow, especially since this homeschool experience is happening right before the baby comes. But Fuller needs some more structure and he is loving having a little something everyday.

We like visiting the butterflies at the aquarium, maybe that is what your friend was talking about? I did check out Anne’s website. It looks like she has a lot of fun doing what she does.

I’m enjoying your homeschooling also. A friend of mine said they were having something around your area about Butterflies. I share with her about what you are doing. She and her husband love Fuller’s full name, they are waiting to see what brother’s name will be, Did you check out my cousin’s web page? She has her calendar on there now.
I added this new blog because when I go to submit comment, that thing says I need to. See I don’t understand all this.
