The rain this morning threw us off. Besides a botched lesson plan (it depended on being outside), I didn’t have anything to take to a Moms Group brunch. And when I got to Moms Group, I developed a wicked headache. I left Moms Group (it was still raining) and discovered my cell phone in the wet grass next to my car. At home, I put the phone in rice. I tried to take a nap, but it didn’t really feel restful. Dinner was started an hour late, and we will have to use pasta instead of rice since the rice is helping out the cell phone (I hope!).
Here’s hoping tomorrow is better.
Edited to add: My sister did the rice thing when the same thing happened to her cell phone. She says it took two days for the phone to dry out and then all was good. I’m crossing my fingers for the same thing.
