Low light

This morning was really sunny and when we were at church, Damon had to scoot over on the pew to keep from being blinded by the sun streaming through this window. I think the picture would have been better with a lens that shoots well in low light, but that’s all technical talk, right?
I was hoping to get a new lens before the baby was born, but I don’t think that will happen right now. I thought about adding it to the baby’s wish list, but I doubt people will really think the baby wants something as fun as a 50 mm lens to shoot in low light.
But the picture is pretty, in my opinion. I usually have trouble shooting pictures at the church, but I’m getting better with the manual settings and getting something I like. Working with what I have is becoming my motto.
