Well, I skipped yesterday in the December Photo Project for a couple of reasons. 1) I didn’t pick up the camera once and 2) I seem to have a bit of a cold which robbed me of my desire to open up the laptop after Fuller went to bed.
One of the reasons I didn’t pick up the camera yesterday was because we were inside all day and it just got visually boring to me. Also, on Monday evening I announced to my dear husband I would no longer be running errands by myself. Either he goes for me or we all go together. It just gets too painful for me. Between the shortness of breath, contractions, and urgent need to sit or lay down, I have to admit feeling a bit scared of going into early labor in the middle of Wal-Mart.
Yesterday I was recovering from the mad dash of errands I did do on Monday (which lead to my announcement), which meant a lot of sitting on the couch or floor. And when Damon came home, he nicely did my bidding (including picking up pizza so I didn’t have to cook) while I lounged on the couch and willed whatever pain I was in to go far, far away.
This morning I am resolved to slowly get some things done around the house (folding laundry can be done while sitting) and get my camera in front of my face before the end of the day. Maybe I can find some beauty in the four walls of my house.

Oh dear!! DO take it easy!!! I hope this doesn’t sound discouraging, but I had prelabor at least the last six weeks. Several times I felt like I was going into early labor, and once even went to the hospital. But I went all the way to 40. Again, I hope that sounds encouraging…nice full time babies are nice.
