December 13th :: Amish Peanut Butter

A friend of ours gave us a Christmas gift of Amish Peanut Butter. From what I understand, it is peanut butter, marshmallow cream, brown sugar, and karo syrup. Some boiling is involved, probably some mixing too.
I had never had it, but my friend told me to put it on bread, which I did, and I’m not ashamed to admit, I’ve been hording it from myself. Damon isn’t into to many sweet things and if Fuller doesn’t know it exists, it isn’t a big deal. Right? Ok, I did put it on his waffle this morning. I like to think of it as the peanut version of Nutella. It makes a great breakfast treat.
I think I will be very sad when our little container is scraped clean, but it really is a good gift, especially since for me, pregnancy and peanut butter go hand in hand.
