December 11th :: Rain, rain go away
Posted by Alli on December 11, 2008
We have been getting needed rain for the past couple of days. On Tuesday night we had some monster rain, lightening, and thunder come through, keeping Damon and me up for about two hours. It was so noisy, I just couldn’t sleep.
Today we have even more rain with falling temperatures and snow predicted for the middle of the night. As I am usually skeptical of snow predictions, I will repeat my mantra of “I’ll believe it when I see it.”
My sister-in-law and her family are enjoying snow in Louisiana, which is very, very odd. So maybe, if they have it, we will get some too.
Right now, looking out my back yard at the small flood on the patio, I am worried not about snow, but ice. I’ll just tell Damon to watch his step when he goes to work tomorrow.
