The Self Portrait Birthday Project

Self Portrait: 21 weeks 4 days

My birthday is in a month, so a count down has begun in my head. A countdown until it is all about me, me, me.

I was thinking about it and thought it would be a fun project for me to try and post a self portrait every day until November 9th. Some days they might have words attached, others it might just be a picture of me.

I started with a belly shot since I know my cousin was hoping to see one sooner or later. I’ve been a bit down lately because of the previa and a recent doctor’s appointment (more on that later), so taking my picture was a little bit of a pick me up. I can start to see a “pregnant me” emerge from the “fat me.” And it makes me smile.

So, please look forward to more of me in the next month.

    Don’t be so hard on yourself Alli. You look great! I know how you feel though. I think all of us pregos feel a little conspicuous and chubby, especially when it’s not our first baby.
