Welcome, Cold Front
We are expecting a cold front today and I am smiling because of it.
Before I left for Orlando our central A/C died. Damon attempted to fix it, but the problem is more than we he thought (like I had any idea what the problem was!). We opted to take our chances on the cooler weather and get in line next A/C season to get it fixed.
Being pregnant makes taking this chance very risky. I tend to run warmer than the others in the house, so when the sun bakes our house in the afternoon I start to feel rather uncomfortable. I drink ice water, which is a big deal for me since I am not a fan of ice in my water.
We had a recent warming trend which actually had me watching the weatherman to see when this warm stuff would disappear. Imagine the happy dance I did when the weatherman uttered the words “cold front” on Sunday. Today, October first, it should be making its way to the Tennessee Valley and this preggo will be happier for it.
I’m just crossing my fingers we don’t get a sudden Indian Summer to push this cold front out of the way. Then we might not be happy we waited to get the A/C fixed.
