It was never my intention to go this long without a post, but it goes like this:

~Friday I got it in my head we had to get our car clean before we traveled south for the weekend. I also wanted to find out where the heck the ants in our car were coming from. I cleaned inside and out, discovered the ants nest in the well of the front door, and then collapsed in a heap of exhaustion inside my air conditioned house. Before I had even started packing for the trip.

~We arrived at Lake Martin safely. While traveling we discovered my car cleaning job did work so well on the windows. I never cleaned them.

~The wireless was scrogged at the lake house and I finally got it working this afternoon. I probably could have fixed it yesterday, but I was lazy. The lake house environment is for relaxing and resting, so what’s the rush?

~The rush was we had unexpected family visitors, fleeing from Hurricane Gustav. They finally arrived this morning, soon after we woke up this morning and just in time for breakfast. The more the merrier, but not enough computers for everyone. So, I finally got the wireless working.

~Yesterday Damon Auburn Elvis and I went to the first Auburn football game of the season. As Auburn Elvis’ support staff I had the honor of taking pictures with my new camera. It was very hot and tiring day. Being 16 weeks pregnant didn’t help. But we valiantly tried to stay hydrated and fed, while having tons of fun.

~Today I have napped more than usual, just trying to recover from last night. We got home right at midnight, and I was in charge of opening the gate. While closing the gate I tripped over a jagged pipe and sliced my shin pretty good. It bled a lot and is currently looking gross and bruised.

So, there it is. Blogging tapas, vacation mode.
