Self Portriat Sunday: No nap for you!
It’s been a while since I have done a self portrait Sunday and I figured I would try my hand at telling a story for Shutter Sisters and their “At Home” contest.
I intended to take a picture of me laying down on the couch, resting like I usually do on a Sunday afternoon. I often fall asleep on the couch, and I thought the self portrait could reflect something like rest. It is what we do at home, especially on Sundays.
However, Fuller was up, saw the camera, and wanted to see himself in the camera. So, you see him peeking behind me, interrupting my attempt at a timed self portrait. But what you don’t know, is today I tried to take a nap (without the camera) and I didn’t get anything more than ten minutes because Fuller didn’t want to have his nap today. I guess no one told him it is a day of rest.

I managed to nap for about an hour this afternoon, but I only have a beagle to interrupt me. Beagles are always ready for a nap.
Welcome back!

Ooh a nap… I love naps, but I didn’t get to take one this weekend. I’m not “allowed” to take naps on Sundays, and I was out all day on Saturday.

Doesn’t look like a nap is in store for either of you.
