Photo cards are fun

And speaking of photos, there is so much you can do with them these days, besides the typical printing out and put them into a frame. One of my favorite projects I did was create a set of note cards out of one of my pictures. I could have printed out the picture and glued it onto the front of blank note cards, but I really liked the finished look of having the note cards printed.
Creating custom photo cards is really easy. Like this card to the left, you don’t have to have a border or clip art added. The simplicity of the photograph is beautiful on its own. And you don’t have to do it for a holiday, I made mine with a blank inside, so it was if I was giving pretty, pretty stationary. Cards Direct makes it easy to do that. You upload the picture, decide what goes inside (blank is an option), and order them in groups of 25. The envelopes come with the cards and you get add your return address if you want.
Of course you can get custom photo cards for holidays, but I like the idea of giving a box of stationary with one of my photos printed on it. It makes it personal for your friend, and you are getting your photography out there.
Next time you are stuck for a gift, think about making stationary with your own custom photo cards.
