I made fire!

We have a fire pit outside and enjoy it a lot in the cool (not cold) evenings. But as it gets colder we are spending less and less time by the fire.
I wish we had a fireplace inside, but alas we are without. My parents have two fireplaces- one gas and one woodburning. The gas fireplace looks like wood and my parents use the fake logs on the woodburning one. It makes it really cozy, especially around the holidays.
Well, I got a gift pack from Vat19 and they included an Ambient Fire DVD. I put it in my DVD player and was thrilled to see it had a variety of fire scenes to play (nine total). And as a bonus there were several audio options- holiday music being one, and just fire sounds being another out of seven combinations.
Fuller was funny when he saw it and put his hands out like he was getting warm. I guess he was a little disappointed it wasn’t real, but we like to make do.
Vat19 also sent some insta snow that I plan on giving to my sister who lives in Florida. And I got a Smencils Gourmet Scented Pencil (orange scent), which really smelled like an orange. But I liked the ambient fire DVD best. I’m definitely keeping that one for me. And my family (of course).
It would have been fun to get a Photopop Album, but Vat19 has lots of neat things to check out. Happy early Christmas to me!
