These boots are made for walking (I hope)

This week my inbox is collecting “You order has shipped!” emails. It is very exciting. And helpful. I like knowing about when I am can expect to get a package because I can try to be home and keep the dogs from going nuts when the UPS man arrives. Or I can take the package from the hands of the mailman, since he won’t come into our yard either. He leaves notes in the mailbox and then I have to go the post office to pick it up.
The latest email came this morning, from Jessica London. The kind folks there wanted me to know my new boots are packaged and on their way to my house.
I am crossing my fingers these boots will fit and be the answer to my boot wishes. I have specific requirements for boots- must be leather, tall, and have practically no rise in the heel. I have painful issues with shoes that have heels, so I need flats. I also have wide feet, so there is another problem. These boots are Plus Size Extra-Wide Leather Riding Boots (in black). Not exactly equestrian riding apparel, but very appealing.
Last year I bought boots online and it was a disaster. I had to return them after a very painful day of walking around downtown. I want boots as part of my wardrobe choices, but I can’t sacrifice comfort for fashion. It cripples me.

I hope these boots fit my foot and keep me from pain. I’m sure I will let you know!
