I always have music playing in the car. When I drive, I am in my own little traveling karaoke machine.

Right now I have a mixed CD in the car, mixed back in 2003, when the looting the internet for music craze was gasping its last breath at our house. (We now buy our music.) One of the songs on the CD is “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched. And yesterday, while singing “I’ll huff, I’ll puff, I’ll blow you away!” something triggered in my memory and by the evening I was the proud owner of an iTunes download of S Club 7’s first album, S Club.

I remember watching their TV show on ABC Family in the evenings. I guess S Club 7 Miami was a precursor to High School Musical mania? I’m not sure what the draw was, but I liked it and now I am rocking out to “Everybody Wants Ya” (because singing you isn’t pop music enough).

What is your secret silly delight? Do you want to fire up the popcorn machines and sit in front of the wayback machine to delight in those British singers road to stardom? Pull up a cushion next to me!
