Online Craft Club: The Car Cake
Posted by Alli on October 12, 2007
This week I am cheating a bit for the Online Craft Club show and tell.
I wrote about the car cake I made for Fuller’s birthday on our family blog, so you can read about it over there. I really find baking to be a bit of a craft as well as anything sewn, hooked, or glued. Your medium is just different- flour, water, powdered sugar, shortening, and some food coloring.
I hope to be a bit more crafty this weekend since my crafty sister will be visiting and letting me borrow her magnetic stamp set. I need to make thank you notes for all of Fuller’s gifts and I might get a bit fancy. And then I can show you next week!
If you have a completed or work in progress craft to show off, then post it on your blog and leave a comment over at Cass Knit’s! I would love to see what you are working on.

Not cheating at all, IMO. That kind of involved baking and decorating definitely qualifies as crafting!
What *is* cheating is me trying to get as much more of my project done as possible before I snap a picture to share tonight. So I look like less of a slacker LOL

That is very cool, Alli! And not what I would consider cheating at all, either!
