What time is it?

We finally have a clock (actually clocks) in our living room so when we are lost in our TV watching or XBox playing, we know exactly how much time we have wasted.

I kid. But it is great to finally have a way to tell time in our living room.

One day I think we will have a grandfather clock somewhere in our house. Maybe not this house (too small) but in a house someday.

Recently I found the website 1-800-4clocks.com and it is a great resource for finding clocks of all kinds of styles, including grandfather clocks. Maybe I could look into a Grandmother clock, which is smaller.

I saw that they have cuckoo clocks, which reminds me of my grandmother’s house. She has a cuckoo clock from Switzerland and it was always a treat to be the one to pull the weights to reset the clock. Sometimes it would wake me up in the middle of the night when we visited her. Last time we took Fuller to Grandma’s house, he was mesmerized when the cuckoo started its song.

I like the website for the variety of clocks they have and the information on their blog which offers information on clock care or deciding which clock is best for you. When we need a new clock, I’ll be checking there again.
