Time to clear out

We got home from Lake Martin yesterday afternoon. And when I got here I had the realization that my house has become a bit disheveled. I have allowed clutter and what not to pile up and instead of cleaning, purging, and organizing, I keep moving the piles around. Not really the best way to be a house keeper.
I figure I need to get a handle on it since I hope that by next month we will be in the throws of chaos due to the bedroom/ bathroom remodel. Clutter on top of chaos opens the downward spiral to insanity.
We aren’t strangers to home improvements. We have done the kitchen (I washed dishes in the bathtub), the second bathroom, Fuller’s room, living room, dining room, attic, and porch. If we had time and energy, we could check out some fun conservatories and see about adding on in the back.
Of course, that may be a great project for a second home. It might look a little funny to see a sunroom on our small house. I love the idea… the sun room at the lake house is a great place to sit and watch the birds, the lake, and the boats. Having a conservatory at our own house would let me watch the birds in the spring and fall.
But then again, what am I talking about? I have so much paper clutter to get through… who has time to watch the birds these days? First things first, I must not get ahead of myself.
