Travel to Florida soon

In a few weeks, less than a month really, our family will be flying to Florida to meet someone who isn’t here yet- my new niece. She will be born any day now, and we are looking forward to spending time in the Sunshine State.
My sister and her husband live in Florida because my BIL’s family lives down there. My sister and BIL want to move to Maine eventually, but right now they are in a stuck situation in Stuart. It isn’t like they can just look at Miami flat fee mls and move somewhere else in the state- they need to move far away and really be on their own for a little while. But with the new baby and new job for BIL it looks like Stuart is where they will stay.
I am glad to have a relative near the ocean, so Fuller gets some exposure to it every once in a while. I just hope one day they get to fulfill their dream and we can visit the ocean in the Northeast corner of our country.

It’s great that you get to meet your niece right away. My niece was eight months old when we moved here to live near her and her mommy. She’s 2 1/2 now, so for her Aunt Tina has always been around – and my whole purpose in life in her mind is to play with her.
As hard as it is to have far flung family, the one great thing is somewhere to vacation. However, my lifelong dream has always been to have everyone I love live within an hour drive.
