Well, I am about to enter a part of my life that I am not at all thrilled about. Dental work.
A few months ago a piece of one of my teeth came off. It didn’t really bother me, and since I no longer had dental insurance, I didn’t call it in.
Last week I woke up in the middle of the night with a throbbing mouth. I took some tylenol and went back to sleep. But every day I get a bit of a throbbing pain. Hot and cold exasperate the pain. Eating is a pain. I am in pain. The funny thing is that most of the pain is below the tooth that has the missing piece. It is under a crown and I am afraid this might mean root canal.
Yesterday I picked up some Kank-A and applied it as soon as the cashier swiped it at checkout. My tooth and lip got numb, but of course that wears off.
I have an appointment in a week. My dentist will be on vacation next week, so I have to live through the pain for a whole week. I guess if I can live through a hole in my tooth I can live with the pain for a week.

Ooh, I hate dental work. You’ve got my sympathy!
